About Us
Our roots in long-term care services go back over 40 years. NuCara is a locally-owned and operated healthcare-based company that has expanded it services to include pharmacy, home medical equipment and home-health care. We strive to meet the needs of our patients which is why we continue to add to our always growing list of services.
Our company now manages over 30 full-service pharmacies in Iowa, Texas, Illinois, North Dakota, and Minnesota. In addition, we operate 10 home medical equipment retail sites plus a home-healthcare franchise location in Northeast Iowa. These locations, plus our emphasis in compounding and infusion services, make us a reliable partner when it comes to the care of individuals, both young and old.
